Personally, I say thumbs up to you CCP for continuing to try and move towards a game that avoids nonsensical exploits and for working to keep you game looking fresh and up to date. I would hate to see EVE go the way of so many other long running MMO, aging poorly because their owning companies are to cheap to go about updating graphics.
The changes to eliminate unscannable ships will not have great impact on the number of people using T3 boosting alts, it just means the players will need to pay slight attention to the alt and keep them moving around in system. In a month or two it such will be the norm. This is no different than ultra deep safe points. A degree of risk is the balance to the benefit of the command link bonuses.
As for graphic cards, the nVidia and ATI do not play well together. There are minor elements to each card that makes them unique. So CCP is programming in favor of one over the other. Guess what, it happens all the time in the gaming industry.
I totally approve of this message ^.^

You know command links do not work while warping?
I'm not really taking any side on the issue, just pointing out "moving around" and boosting are incompatible :P
OMFG! Are you really serious i think he's aware of this you will find my dear What he means is that people will have to warp to a saved location and reactivate there links! o_0

Originally by: Nerrevarn Hmm, worst patch ever? And still some people excited huh? :) Nothing interesting really for a core old school player and as always an introduction of some annoying and unnecessary changes (this time in probing). Also it looks to me like a start of those renowned micro-transactions... connected with our PLEX system unfortunately... Somehow I have a feeling that someone in CCP sits a whole day long and only thinks how to make the game more problematic for those players who have to feed on average their 2-4 accounts. Any new patch recently and I just expect something more challenging and less rewarding ;) As for EVE graphics... I lost my previous passive GPU (a bit over a year ago) thanks to EVE. It got overheated and started to produce nice artifacts heh. Now I just hope my current GPU can handle all those new "impressive" things.
Blah blah blah Cry me a ffs river grow up and upgrade ohterwise go back to mario bros from the 90's
